Welcome  On behalf of T & L & their families, I would like to welcome all of you to this very special occasion.

Giving Bride Away

Minister:      Who gives this woman to be married to this man?

  Giver:           Response of:   I DO

Dearly beloved, we are gathered together here in the sight of God, and in the presence of this company, to join this man and this woman in holy matrimony.  Marriage is an honorable estate, instituted of God, blessed by our Lord Jesus Christ, and commended by St. Paul to be honorable among all men.  It is not, therefore, to be entered into lightly or unadvisedly; but reverently, soberly, and in fear of God. It is fitting, therefore, that we should on this occasion, seek the divine blessing.  Let us pray.

The Bible teaches us in Genesis chapter 2: 21-24, that a man will leave his father and mother and be united with His wife as one flesh.

As a symbol of this union, the mothers and the bride and groom will light the candles.

“ From every human being there rises a light that reaches straight to heaven, and when two souls that are destined to be together find each other, the streams of light flow together and a single brighter light goes forth from that united being.

As a symbol of this union, Thomas and Lauren will light their candle.
